I Didn't Get Lost!

I have to apologize for not blogging in a long long time. I've been so busy! In November, we moved into our studio at the Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower in downtown Baltimore -- such a beautifully restored historic building. We are honored to be one of the artist in this building. In the months leading up to November, we were searching for the perfect location and preparing and creating fine art for the studio. I can't tell you in words how fullfilling it is to finally be working in this inspirational space. The light is absolutely astonishing and many times I find myself shooting with only available light. We are planning a few specials for this year and will be announcing a special deal in honor of Valentine's day -- keep checking back over the next few days for this announcement! The next open house for the Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower is January 15, 2009 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. The address is 21 S. Eutaw St in Baltimore, Maryland. Please mark your calendar and drop by to visit me and the other artists; you are in for a real treat!

The Perfect Wedding

The week of May 11th it rained most of the week in the Baltimore area, but on May 17th the sun came out, there was a slight breeze and the temperature was in the 70's. What could be more perfect for what else but "the perfect couple" - Alexis and Sean. The wedding location was the Elkridge Furnace Inn and wow, what a beautiful location. Alexis chose pink as the accent color for her wedding and the decorations were so so pretty. Everything went off as planned and the wedding party and guest had a great time. One guest noted to us that this was the best party he had ever been to - great job Alexis and Sean, the two of you are an absolutely amazing pair; enjoy the rest of your lives together! Click the link to the right to see their wedding slide show.

Well the big day is coming soon for Tyra and Ron and we took a trip to one of Baltimore's beautiful location earlier this month to shoot some engagement pictures. The weather was picture perfect, just as this wonderful couple was. We are so excited about capturing your wedding day and can hardly wait!

Happy Birthday Dear Friend

On Saturday, I attended a birthday celebration for a dear life long friend. Although I was a guest, I had to snap off a few. It was very special and there were tears of joy all around. I would like to thank her family for this wonderful celebration for a wonderful mother, wife, sister, and friend. Many, many more Camilla. We love you! The link to the celebration slideshow is to the right. Enjoy!

My Faith Has Been Restored

Last week I posted about the customer service I received from a company that I do business with; well my faith in this company has been restored. I wrote the company about my disappointment in their customer service and the owner immediately called me to apologize and thank me for letting her know that there was a problem. She personally took the blame and said that things would change. I am totally encouraged by her actions and have decided to continue to do business with them. It took courage for her to step up to the plate and do something about my complaint and I applaud her; if only other businesses would do the same. If you have a complaint about a company you are doing business with, let them know. Maybe the manager or owner isn't aware that there is a problem and would be appreciative of your input - give it a try.
